Eminent Jurists' Panel on Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights

February 8-9 Bogotá Colombia
On 8-9 Februrary, the Eminent Jurists Panel will hold its first hearing in Bogotá, Colombia.
Raúl Zaffaroni, Robert K. Goldman and Stefan Trechsel will represent the Panel at this hearing.
While in Colombia, the Panel will listen to Colombian judges, lawyers and human rights defenders as well as to the Colombian authorities to enquire about the compatibility of the counter-terrorism policy -known as the democratic security policy- with international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
