Hina JILANI
(Pakistan)

A lawyer of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Hina Jilani is founder and current Vice Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, one of the country's most prominent non-governmental organizations. During her mandate as the first United Nations expert on human rights defenders, she has had wide exposure to the impact of counter-terrorism measures on human rights advocates and their work.
